The Simon Companies is hiring an Experienced and Motivated Residential Maintenance Supervisor to oversee Bayside Village (www.baysidevillageapts.com), a 111-unit Section 8 apartment community. This is a hands-on position responsible for overall care and maintenance of the community. Focus on preventative maintenance, apartment turnovers, construction projects and customer service.

The Maintenance Supervisor should be capable of managing several teammates as well as numerous vendors through effective prioritizing, scheduling, and oversight. Experience in the following desired:

– 3+ years Prior Property Management experience is required.
– Inventory management and cost-conscious decision making.
– Basic carpentry, plumbing, drywall, and electrical.
– Property upkeep and maintenance of exterior and interiors of buildings.

Basic computer skills, excellent organization skills, and professional demeanor are needed. Must live within 30 minutes drive and participate in rotating On-Call (paid overtime) every 2-3 weeks. Ability to consistently climb stairs, lift heavy objects, and work in tight spaces required. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
